Preparing the next generation of leaders

The Leadership Development Program for Executives is for employees in the Division of University Outreach and Engagement, the Division of Extended Campus, and the College of Agricultural Sciences. Participants should have significant professional experience within their assignment and a documented record of performance that indicates potential success in an executive leadership position.

The 2016-17 Cohort will be wrapping up in October, and we are now taking applications for the 2017-18 Cohort! 

In addition to completing the online application, applicants must submit (via email) a brief bio and references from:

1) immediate supervisor

2) program leader or unit director 

3) a peer

*Note: If your immediate supervisor is also your unit director, only two letters are required

2017

  • January - September: Cohort 3 Intermittent leadership activities, including: coaching, readings, virtual classes, and discussions
  • February - August: Cohort 3 "Leadership fellow” experience under supervision of assigned mentor, not to exceed three months
  • April 5: Cohort 3 Spring Retreat 8am-5pm (MU 208 La Raza Room)
  • August 15: Cohort 4 Applications, bios, and references due:
  • September 5-7: Cohort 3 Summer Capstone (Brasada Ranch)
  • September 18: Cohort 4 Participants announced
  • October: Cohort 3 evaluations
  • October 20: Cohort 4 Orientation webinar 
  • December 11-14: Cohort 4 On-campus Workshop led by the Ohio State University Center for Leadership

2018
